PATRICK KAVANAUGH

Patrick was born and raised in Northern Virginia, in a small town called Purcellville, before his family moved to Berryville, VA. He attended Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville and is currently finishing his degree at George Mason University. Throughout his life, Patrick participated in various sports, including flag football, soccer, basketball and cross-country. He ran all four years of high school track, where his work ethic stood out. Although he wasn’t the fastest runner, he was known for his consistency and dedication. Patrick was nominated multiple times for the Coaches Award for his strong work ethic.

Through his studies at George Mason, Patrick discovered his passion for strength and conditioning and decided to pursue a career as a trainer. When his school announced that TrueAP was hiring, he jumped at the opportunity. Patrick has had many coaches who became great mentors in his life, and he aspires to do the same for every athlete he works with.

What sets Patrick apart is his deep knowledge of exercise science and biomechanics, as well as his ability to connect with people on a personal level. He believes that getting to know athletes personally makes training more effective and enjoyable. While Patrick excels in weight training, he is also expanding his skills in other areas of training as a Certified Personal Trainer. As a trainer, Patrick is dedicated to creating individualized, fun and challenging programs to help athletes reach their goals.
