ANDRE DEOCAMPO

Andre Deocampo, a native of Tamuning, Guam, and raised in Ashburn, Virginia, brings a wealth of passion and dedication to his role as a TrueAP performance coach.
Andre’s academic journey began at Broad Run High School, where he pursued an advanced diploma. Continuing his education, he earned an associate’s degree in Science from Northern Virginia Community College before obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from George Mason University.
Athletics have been a central part of Andre’s life since childhood. While basketball was his primary focus, he also dabbled in track during his senior year of high school, particularly excelling in the triple jump and earning a notable 3rd place in Districts.
Throughout high school and during his time at Northern Virginia Community College, Andre continued to pursue basketball, showcasing his dedication and skill both on and off the court. His experiences as an athlete ignited his passion for working with others to achieve their athletic goals.
In December 2023, Andre joined the TrueAP team, driven by his desire to continue developing athletic performance while also expanding his knowledge and expertise. TrueAP provided the perfect environment for Andre to thrive and make a meaningful impact.
What sets Andre apart as a coach is his ability to connect with athletes on a personal level, instilling trust and fostering a collaborative relationship. He believes in matching the energy and dedication of his athletes, pushing them to new heights while providing unwavering support.
Certified as a Personal Trainer through NFPT, Andre is equipped with the knowledge and skills to guide athletes towards their goals effectively. His dedication to continual improvement and commitment to his athletes’ success set him apart as a trusted mentor and coach.
In his spare time, Andre remains dedicated to his athletes, constantly striving to help them improve by reminding them that progress is about consistent effort and growth, no matter the pace. He approaches each day with the mindset of continual improvement, ensuring that his athletes are always moving forward, even if it’s just by 1%.
