AVERY BOEA-GISLER

Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Avery Boea-Gisler is a dedicated sports enthusiast with a remarkable background in sports performance enhancement and injury prevention.
Avery is an alum of Serra Catholic High School, where he participated in soccer, hockey, and track.
Avery graduated from Penn West University California where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with dual Master’s in Exercise Science with a concentration in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention with dual Master’s in Applied Science.
At PennWest, Avery competed on the track team where his stellar performances earned him the coveted title of Individual All-Conference Champion in the PSAC an impressive three times.
Joining the TrueAP team in May 2023, Avery saw this as a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-level sports performance organization. His motivation lies in positively impacting athletes’ careers through genuine and intelligent coaching, a testament to his unwavering commitment to their development.
With experience working across various sports, he has consistently improved performance in different domains. His specialization in speed training is complemented by a well-rounded knowledge of strength and conditioning. Avery’s greatest impact has been observed in sports such as football, soccer, hockey, and track and field, where he has empowered athletes to reach their full potential.
Avery boasts a number of certifications, including:
- NASE Specialist Level II
- NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist
- EXOS Performance Enhancement Specialist
- USATF Level 1 Coach
- Certified functional strength coach (CFSC) from Mike Boyle Strength Conditioning (MBSC)
Avery’s future ambition is to coach track at the collegiate level. His dedication to sports and commitment to athletes’ growth make him a valuable addition to the TrueAP team, where he continues to inspire and elevate the performance of aspiring athletes.
