  • Performance Coach

Michael was born and raised in Fairfax, VA. He attended Herndon High School before going on to study at James Madison University and George Mason University, where he earned his degree in Kinesiology. Growing up, Michael played basketball and competed on various AAU and travel teams. He continued playing basketball in high school and later at James Madison University, where he also participated in club basketball. After his basketball career, Michael transitioned to boxing, training and competing as an amateur for about two years.

Michael joined TrueAP in November 2024 because he wanted to be part of a team of like-minded individuals who believe in pushing their potential. He finds fulfillment in coaching, as it provides an opportunity to lead both athletes and himself toward their goals. For Michael, coaching is a way to sharpen not only athletic skills but also personal growth.

What sets Michael apart from other trainers is his focus on the mental side of sports. He believes that training the mind is just as important as training the body and works to push athletes both mentally and physically. His specialty lies in training basketball players and developing explosive movements, as well as conditioning. Michael holds a personal training certification and a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.

Outside of training, Michael enjoys challenging himself in various physical and mental pursuits. He is passionate about serving in his church, running, studying history and competing in sports.
